Mars Matrix: Hyper Solid Shooting is a vertical scrolling shooter arcade game developed by Takumi in 2000. The game was published by Capcom and it was later ported to the Sega Dreamcast in 2001. The arcade version used the famous CPS-2 arcade system board. The game only uses one button but the triggered actions differ according to the timing with which the button is pressed. There are 6 levels in the game each with a boss at the end. The Sega Dreamcast version features arcade mode, elite mode, score challenge mode, shop and strategy mode.
