Sega Master System Rare Video Games

Sega Master System was the first SEGA console released in Europe. It was released in 1986 after the launch of NES. Although Nintendo had forced game developers to create games only to their console NES, Sega had a good success with Master System in Europe and it has also outsold NES in some European countries. Later on,a newer model "Sega Master System 2" was released with more technical specs although not in the terms of graphics.

However this unit lacked the enhancement of Light Phaser and card games, so it is not popular among the collectors around the world. Most of the games of Sega Master System were produced in huge numbers and the rare games are very limited. The most valuable rare game for this system is LES SCHTROUMPFS AU TOUR DU MONDE which was developed and released by French Software company INFOGRAMES. The known copies were only sold in Czech Republic for a reason that we don't know yet.
